We live in an island and the climate is not always on our side. We rarely have a proper sunny summer, the winters are grey and rainy and most of the time, the wind is way more than a gentle breeze. It is not a surprise why the weather is such a widespread conversation topic as we can have all four seasons in one day. When the wind is not coming to get us and turn our umbrellas upside down, it can be rather pleasant. The same goes for the elusive sun when it decides to come out. But no matter how many times we moan about the rain, one of the best things to come out of it is the green and fresh look of our landscape. And we also have our Welly boots and umbrellas to keep us dry-ish.

If you want to bring some British weather into your home, why not have a look at our selection of umbrella paintings. Quirky, funny, original and romantic are just a few characteristics of these original paintings. Enjoy!
