St Andrew Undershaft, which is located in St Mary Axe, at the foot of the Swiss Re building, aka The Gherkin. I love how the turret seems to throw a shadow on the building and the Gherkin in turn shadows the church, which is a rarity in the City having survived the Fire of London and the Blitz. A box canvas with fully painted edges so no frame required. It is supplied ready to hang, fitted with ‘D’ rings and picture cord. Signed on the back. Complete with Certificate of Authenticity Painted in a impressionistic, pop art style with a limited colour palette. Please ask if you want my signature on the front of this painting.
I have been painting for many years and I work in various styles. My figurative work is traditional with a contemporary twist. A passion for architecture, a casual interest in people watching and a lifelong love of photography are the inspiration for many of the paintings. My abstract works come from feelings, words, music. A riot of colour or a subdued undertone of emotions.
