Susan Nicholson

I am a UK born, self taught, professional artist, living in a small mining village in Northumberland. My preferred medium is oils, but I also enjoy acrylic and pastels. Northumberland is such a beautiful county and has so many wonderful areas to paint, including castles, beaches, forests and has so many historical buildings and places of beauty.and interest, but I also paint views from other areas, florals and animals. I have been married for 42 years, have two wonderful sons and 2 beautiful grandsons. Painting is now my life, work and pleasure and even though it can be a challenge sometimes, it also gives you such a sense of achievement and joy when you add the final touch, stand back and say...job done.
