I started painting back in 2001 when I returned to full time education to study Art & Design. Art became an all consuming passion which ignited a spark for all things creative that must have been dormant for many years I believe. Painting is now something I do from my studio at home on a daily basis, which fits in around looking after my home and my family. I am kept company through the day by my Corgi puppy called Callie who keeps me sane and gets me out for long walks in all weathers. I love bold, strong colour, and shapes and strong black line features in many of my paintings in acrylic. However, I occasionally love the freedom of abstract work which allows me to break away from those tight lines! Over the past 13 years I have had numerous exhibitions across the UK and London, and my work has sold to both private & corporate collectors across the world.
