About the artwork
Original painting depicting a lady with umbrella awaiting a ride home against a colourful orange and yellow background. The narrative of the painting is focused on both the figure in the foreground and the distant figure / vintage car in the background. The concept study was initially sketched out on paper before beginning the oil painting. The painting is currently unframed and can be hung on suitable wall fixings or framed as required.
