I live in Scotland - a land full of inspiring images and I try to compose each piece with careful use of colour combinations and the effects of light.
I mostly paint sea/loch scenes, after all, Scotland has these in abundance and mountains form the perfect backdrop.
I paint mainly in oil or watercolour. Quite often, the way I feel about a subject will determine the medium I use.
