Based in United Kingdom
I have been artistic all my life, an inherent gift from both parents so it is in my genes, thus I have a permanent desire to paint and create. My varied career began with commissioned artwork before progressing to produce original clothing and working in musical theatre as set and costume designer. I have taught every form of art and enjoy the use of different media, especially oils and acrylic when combined with paper to create a collage. Known for dramatic and vibrant use of colour in all my subjects, I do have a passion for painting the human form both male and female, and it was through a male art gallery that I attained international recognition and was one of a hundred artists chosen world wide to be published in the pioneering book '100 Artists of the Male Figure' celebrating the male form. Whilst predominantly a figurative artist I do however stray towards abstracts by way of a change, where I can go a little crazy!
