Based in United Kingdom
I am a professional artist and graduate of the prestigious Wimbledon School of Art. I enjoy painting in a variety of mediums but tend to focus on oils and acrylic. I reside in Berkshire with my family but have been lucky enough to have lived in a variety of settings thanks to my husbands’ postings with the Royal Air Force. Indeed a large proportion of my work feature military aircraft as a consequence. I enjoy capturing landscapes in bold, vibrant colours and relish in focusing on the details of the local wildlife. A majority of my art also involves comical elements, such as a cow being airlifted and a bustard crossing a military training area. These light hearted elements are juxtaposed with the military might of the dynamic aircraft depicted in the skyline. I am keen to depict my own experiences in my art. For example I would often see the Chinook helicopters on my walks on Salisbury Plain and when I resided in Scotland; the Typhoons exercising over the Moray Firth. My paintings reflect my experiences moving from garrisons to airbases around the world. As well as painting for my own delight, I welcome commissions and have recently completed several bespoke retirement and Christening gifts creating a truly unique work of art for an unforgettable gift.
