I am a self taught painter and designer creating stylised cityscapes and abstracts using a combination of original and tradition media to create large scale visually impressive statement pieces. My work has attracted an international following and I have been lucky enough to achieved an impressive level of commercial success. Previously I have worked from various European desitinations, and I believe all my international travelling has informed my work. My cityscapes include iconic buildings and features from destinations as diverse as New York, Berlin, Shanghai and Barcelona reproduced in a unique and innovative style. I now work full time from my Bingley studio in the heartland of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. With a strong grounding in interior design, my work is intensely modern. I love large scale abstracts that are simultaneously playful and intensely contemporary. I use a wide range of media taking pleasure in combining and contrasting their qualities to create work which has attracted widespread media attention. Since taking up full time painting in 2003 I have created an impressive body of work and now mainly concern myself with commissions from new and established customers. I create one-off extraordinary art for extraordinary spaces including and have previously been commissioned by large corporate companies including well known hotel chains, restaurants, premiership footballers, banks, GHD (the hair straightening people) and Marks and Spencer.....to name but a few!!!
