Mary Stubberfield

Mary studied art at Eastbourne College of Art before attending Bournemouth College of Art to complete a degree in Illustration. During this time she was selected for the European Illustration Awards and Images-the best of British Illustration. Mary has sold work internationally to private and corporate buyers and exhibitions include:The Association of Illustrators London, Young Masters Atlanta, Art for Youth at the Mall Galleries annually (award winner 1994) , Vic Naylor, St John Street London, Zebra One Gallery Hampstead, the Brighton Festival, Royal College of Art, Novas Gallery Camden, The Camden Arts Centre, Skylark Gallery South bank, Art Loco, Ticehurst, The Stables Gallery, Hastings, The Yacht Bar, Eastbourne Sovereign Harbour, IO Gallery and Bellis Gallery in Brighton She has exhibited in Spetses and Hydra in Greece and was commissioned to paint houses and murals for private clients there. Illustration commissions include Scotrail, English Tourist Board, Element Books, Cadogan Guides, Santoro Publishing, WH Smith, Watermark Publishing, Athena, Modernart Editions, American Greetings, BBC Magazines and BBC Educational Publishing. Mary has illustrated magazines, book covers, children's books, cookery books, greetings cards and billboard advertisements. Currently published by Museums and Galleries and the Art Group.
