Since visiting New York she was inspired by the majestic shapes of the buildings and colour and excitement the city. This is reflected in her cityscapes. On returning to London she looked around and was also inspired by the beautiful old buildings and the river banks of the Thames where she painted Battersea Power Station and other river scenes. She is currently painting a series of the Thames at Dusk. Patricia was recently made a member of the Society of Women Artists and subsequently became an award winner. She was elected as a member of S.O.F.A (The Society of Feline Artists) in 2013 where she won an award for Best Newcomer. In 2016 Patricia won the Henri Roche Award at the Pastel Society in the Mall Galery
