Inspired by my love of water, I create abstract paintings rich in colour that transform the spaces we live in through calm, and energy. I have always had a fascination with the transient nature of water and its ability to take many forms whether it be a formed yet formless cloud or a flowing river. Representing water through paint and process is an ongoing theme. I love to play and work with different materials and processes, being influenced by my interpretation of the Japanese concept of Wabi-Sabi and a love of the positive outcomes of serendipity.
