I am a professional artist living in East Sussex, having exhibited nationally and internationally and featured in various press articles, including the International Artists, Pastel Artist, Artists and Illustrator, Pratique des Arts and The Neurobiology of Painting by F. Clifford Rose. The Museum of Carcassonne has acquired my work. My inspiration is the chaotic appearance of my garden and the subsequent play of light and shadows on the foliage and flowers that fragment the images into abstractions of colour and light, which causes the flowers to give up their botanical likeness and evoke their mood and spirit through colours that blend and clash.
