Veronica Ciccarese was born in 1972 in Mesagne, Italy. Since I was a child I have shown a keen interest in painting and drawing. I enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce but did not finish my studies due to family vicissitudes. Over the years I continue my passion with severe self-taught studies and in artistic workshops following the advice and lessons of artists, Angioletta de Nitto, Maestro Igli Arapi and the artist Jara Marzulli, attending courses and workshops in their artistic studios. The core of my inspiration is women. My painting pays homage to women, it is an oil painting on a uniform colored acrylic background.
