Wherever you are in the world, have you ever walked in the mountains and seen the stars?! It's amazing how beautiful the skies are when there is less light to pollute them. One of my favourite places to watch the skies unfold is the Lake District. Inspired by a hike earlier this summer, with a little imagination. A breathtaking place where the skies and mountains seem eternal. --------------------------------------------- This is Buttermere Lake in the Lake District, this whole area is breathtakingly beautiful, and a place I wanted to capture in time. I endeavour to paint places that capture the heart, and capture a moment in time. Places I have visited and wandered in, coupled with imagination they are places and pieces you can escape to, to dream in, yet also bring colour, light and texture to your space. Even if you aren't familiar with this place, it is the perfect mountain escape for your space.
