Sarah grew up in North Yorkshire, being surrounded by beautiful landscapes and close to The North Sea. She has painted since a young child and continued as a hobby whilst working in graphic design. After having a family of her own Sarah’s artwork started getting interest from friends and family until the point where she started to make a full-time career out of her art commissions. Sarah paints with acrylics and is most well known for her use of textures and metallic golds, with multiple layers manipulated to create abstract works. Her paintings continually evolve and are a constant exploration of texture, depth, and light. She is described as an Interior Design Artist and is known and used in the industry for high spec luxury newbuild large projects (such as a current large Mayfair project, and Sloane Square previously), as well as luxury yachts. “I am a huge fan of non-figurative art, and just love textured abstracts. I get the most joy out of paintings inspired by nature, which has always impressed and surprised me with its beauty and magnificence. I am compelled to share my obsession and passion for painting. My work is an intuitive process, with sometimes unexpected results at the end of the painting journey. I am guided by the emotion that Mother Nature awakens in me, translating this through to artwork that provokes an emotional experience. I am doing what I love and hope that joy and energy comes across in my work. I want clients to love their purchase and give them the same joy and emotion that I had while painting it!” In homes and private collections around the UK, across the US and Europe, along with Singapore, Sarah is very much an established rising artist.
