About the artwork
In Celtic religion, the stag was a symbol of the god Cernunnos, "The Horned One" Cernunnos was a god of the forest and of wild animals, He was seen as a god of plenty and often featured with ornate antlers of gold and jewels and is depicted as the protector of the forest and its many inhabitants. This painting is vibrant and bold with strong, deep blue tones and texture that emanates from the center of the golden moon behind the proud stag. The painting has been fully varnished and protected against u.v light damage so you will know that the colors and vibrancy of the painting will stay as good as new for years to come. I hope you like
