About the artwork

In Dark and Gloomy Times ... What better than to make a song With your Guitar as your friend To sing a song or two A song that mend your mind A song about an epidemic That became so academic A flue that keeps as locked up And makes it difficult to keep our heads up So the lyric starts like this: I know you are sad As times are bad But we are alive And desperate to survive Priorities had been sorted And new attitudes will be imported Tread light my dear as life is fragile And not just a bite in an apple Each life has a heart So don’t break it my friend There is a life after Covid-19 With life a lovely submarine Take courage my friend Life is beautiful and so are you. Sing away the doom and gloom

My paintings are usually bright and the mediums I like are Acrylic and Oil. Thanks for looking at my art. Blog by Maxine Harris: There is a kind of quintessential charm found in Suzette’s paintings. The themes of her love for forests, houses human interaction are sipping through her charming and exquisite approach. She paints them with the sense of humour and with deliberate choice of the primary colours, red, blue and yellow (and their variants). Her artworks remind us of childhood. Suzette’s paintings depict her chosen subject of the 'lost Britain,' “the way it used to be,” which has been popularised in programmes, such as Miss Marple, and The Last of the Summer Wine, showing British countryside, funny Britain, and simple ...
