About the artwork
This abstract has also been produced by listening to the music of Arnold Schoenberg written after the revolution of the "Viennese School" where every note in the chromatic scale was used to create chords and sounds which music- goers were unaccustomed to hearing. The strange dissonant noises and clashing harmonies radically changed the course of music and was likened to expressionism in art.
Art and music have always fascinated me and I have been involved with both for most of my life. In my professional career I worked with composers, songwriters and musicians and music has inspired many of my paintings. I have no particular style and simply paint how I feel when I start a new work! Painting gives me great pleasure and I hope others enjoy what I create.
