About the artwork
I did this painting based on photos taken during a day walk in the beautiful Seaford Cliffs area near Brighton. As always the gulls fascinated me and the intense bursts of pink flowers exploding against the scene were both entrancing and surreal! Later I painted it as a demonstration piece for an Art Group and just finished it off in my Studio. As I end up with quite a few demonstration pieces, I am selling them at a much lower price than my usual range. The Painting is Oil on Canvas Panel and measures approximately 16" x 20" in inches. I am an English Artist living in the beautiful West Sussex countryside. I have been painting and doing commissioned Portraits for most of my adult life. Notable Portrait work has included series commissions by the CBS TV network in LA and recently a large canvas of the rapper Drake with twenty people, for his LA home. I grew up in Africa where my twin passions as a child were Wildlife and Magic! Later in London I became the official "Flower Fairy" Artist for the prestigious "Dragons of Walton Street" for eight years before leaving to follow my own paths in Art.
