My latest of my 'Attitudes' series of smaller monochrome figurative paintings, painted in January 2024. 'I've Been Waiting' is painted on beautiful smooth black leather that is mounted and framed. The frame measures approx. 23cms x 28cms the painted image measures 12 x 17cm and is ready to wall hang or place on a level surface. The Attitudes Series is a concept in the use of light and shadows. All have been created using only white paint so any 'grey' is the result of the black of the leather coming through and being part of the composition. Monochrome artwork fits well in to any home, modern or traditional. These pieces would also work well on a book case or a cabinet - they can be propped up or hung on the wall. Thank you for taking the time to read my Profile here on Art2Arts and hope you like my art. I am a portraiture artist, full-time since 2013 and specialising in painting on leather although I can and do occasionally use traditional media. My subjects do vary - it keeps me on my toes and new challenges are a good thing. Leather art.
