Welcome to my gallery. My journey into art started as a therapeutic activity whilst adapting to a complete change of life after I suffered a near-fatal brain haemorrhage. I have explored many creative techniques, developed and inspired through study, as well as much experimentation and practice. My work is mainly abstract or semi-abstract, using a limited palette of mostly blues and white. Experimenting with textures and a variety of materials to create subtle, fluid effects, I aim to convey and capture light, atmosphere, and a sense of mood and movement in a loose, flowing, suggestive style. I'm especially interested in the fluctuation and fragility, yet power, of the sea and the natural world, and these themes feature prominent... (see more)
