About the artwork
This morning a pond next to our home served for inspiration for three different pochoir monoprints. This print shows the wood clubrush and the common reed. The shapes of the plants are very effective due to the black and white contrast. In my eyes, the flowers in this print have something very delicate, fragile and light – so beautiful. The black that I use, actually, is a very very dark brown, so that my "black and white" prints have a warm toning and give a pleasant feel. A small piece of nature and soothing minimalism for you and your home. This artwork is a monoprint (one of a kind and unique) on high quality mould-made paper.
